BLOGMAS Day 10: Donut Falls Hike

In July we joined my friend Debbie's vegan hiking group for an evening/nighttime hike to Donut Falls.  

Nobody tells you that the toughest part about his hike is hiking up the waterfall.  Which is something that you might like to do if you would like to see the donut shaped feature which it is named after.

Spencer was brave enough to hike up the waterfall where you can see the water rushing through a donut shaped opening that gives this waterfall its name.  The climb does not look very steep in these photos but I got scared halfway up the waterfall because my boots where rather slippery.  So I decided to sit and watch the water rush by me and take photos of wildflowers.  Spencer saw the main event and quickly snapped these two pictures with his phone.
