MINIMALISM: Life Edit

I started my capsule wardrobe in the fall of 2015, and I will keep at it for the foreseeable future since I continue to learn with each season.

It's liberating to have a simplified wardrobe, but just like most people I was hesitant and unnecessarily fearful to start my very first capsule.  I was overthinking it.
I did not know that capsule dressing is a life altering experiment in which one learns by doing, not by designing the perfect seasonal capsule.

If you have been thinking about capsule dressing, I recommend giving it a go.  A capsule does not have to be special or perfect.
I follow the rules of Project 333 for my seasonal capsules.  Accordingly, I select 33 pieces of clothing for the next three months while storing all other items away until I create my next capsule.

You can have a peek at all my capsules here:

I'm interested in minimalism and simple living.
To me it's a guiding principle of enough.  Reminding me that I have enough and that I am enough - even in moments when I don't want to listen.

I have one life and I want to live it beautifully, joyfully and with integrity.  Minimalism is a simple path that cuts through distractions, but also something that is practiced and reflected upon daily.
In this list of links you can find some of my musings on the subject from over the years.
