Zero Waste

Zero Waste

Let's ditch plastic and unsustainable habits together!

I have been implementing zero waste efforts since 2016.
On my zero waste journey I aim to
  • reduce unnecessary waste
  • phase out unnecessary plastic from my home
  • favour slow living + simple solutions
  • make forever purchases
  • and read about the topic of sustainability.

I'm interested in long-term, truly sustainable solutions that are fair and healthy for ALL.

Fair and healthy for me,
other people,
the environment,
animals etc.

"Sustainability is defined as an approach to life
that views long-term environmental, human and
economic well-being as one and the same.
Sustainability honors life and the interconnections
in the web of life as far into the future
as one can imagine.  A system is only sustainable
if it is designed to take care of all components
of that system - now and in the future."

ZERO WASTE BOOK CLUB

I enjoy learning through reading and the intention of this book club is to read broadly about the topic of sustainability in order to learn and to make more thoughtful choices.  I host this book club together with my friend Bree (@MindfullyBree)and we offer 6 virtual discussions throughout the year. All are welcome!
