One of the most rewarding hikes to do around Salt Lake City is to hike to Ensign Peak. The steep path takes you to the perfect spot to admire the slow sinking sun over the Great Salt Lake and it also gives you an amazing view of the salt lake valley from an elevation of 5,416 feet.
Our cute friend Bree joined us for our sunset hike! And the the sun disappeared on the horizon and we would see the city lights coming on.
